Welcome to Karsten & Co.

We make all natural aromatherapy products, using locally sourced ingredients including, 100% pure plant-distilled essential oils.

All Products are made in Melbourne, Victoria.

Kate’s story began when she started working in a flower shop at the age of eighteen. It was there that she fell in love with flowers and aromatherapy. At age twenty-one she was managing a quaint flower and gift shop in a large hotel in Melbourne.

After managing two flower shops over the next few years, aged twenty-five she opened her own flower shop with her sister. Inspired by all the lovely natural botanical aromas, her passion to create a natural product blossomed.

“I could never find a candle that smelt natural and therapeutic, “most candles are made with paraffin wax, which is obtained from petroleum, and fragrance oil that is manufactured in a lab”.

After two years of experimenting Kate has created an all natural, aromatherapy wood wick candle and custom blends of pure essential oils using seven different scents in each. Essential oil blends can be used in an oil burner, vaporiser or diffuser.

Essential oils are 100% natural extractions from different parts of a plant, such as flowers, herbs, or roots. These oils are pure extractions that are obtained through the process of steam distillation or solve extractions and are not cut with a type of carrier oil. These 100% pure oils are “neat”, meaning they have not been processed, diluted or manipulated in any way with solvents or other additives.

All of our ingredients are sourced locally using the finest quality.
Vessels can be rinsed out with hot soapy water and reused as either a storage container or a beautiful vase for flowers or herbs.
